Life's a Beach! Making a Beachy Card for the Inspiration Station Challenge

Hello everyone!

I have a fun beachy card to share with you today for the July instalment of the Inspiration Station Challenge.

 The Inspiration Station Challenge: July

The Inspiration Station Challenge is a monthly challenge for all types of crafty projects. It starts the first Monday of each month and runs to the end of the month. Each month there is a new image to use for inspiration and it is a perfect way to jump start you creativity!

You can find all the details and link up your projects to play along on the Inspiration Station Challenge Blog! P.S by entering your projects you get entered into a giveaway!

For my project this month I used a couple of Clearly Besotted stamp sets. I started by stamping the beach background onto an A2 cardfront and I used my Grabie alcohol markers to colour it. I then added some additional details with acrylic markers.

The cute hippo was stamped onto a scrap piece of cardstock and then fussy cut after colouring. I then stamped the sentiment and cut it into a banner shape and added it to a thin strip of cardstock I had coloured with a brown marker to create a cute little sign for the hippo to hold.

The cardfront panel was then cut out using a decal edge die and added to my cardbase using foam tape. I popped up the hippo and sentiment with foam square as well.

That is all for me today, I hope you have enjoyed reading about how I created this card.
