Hello everyone! I'm here to share my card I created for this month's instalment of the Inspiration Station Challenge. I had lots of fun creating this card and I hope you like it too!

The Inspiration Station Challenge: January 2025

The Inspiration Station Challenge is a monthly challenge for all types of crafty projects. It starts the first Monday of each month and runs to the end of the month. Each month there is a new image to use for inspiration and it is a perfect way to jump start you creativity!

You can find all the details and link up your projects to play along on the Inspiration Station Challenge Blog!

My Card Project

I absolutely love the sweet bird in this month's inspiration image so I had to include a bird on my card.

To create my card I used the stamp and die from the Craft Your Life Kit: Rustic Charm from Altenew. I stamped the images with Momento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured the images with my Ohuhu Alcohol markers trying to keep to a similar colour story as is in the inspiration image. I have included markers I used in the image below so you can use these blends for your own colouring too!

For the background I did a little light handed ink blending using Faded Jeans Distress Ink starting at the top of my A2 card panel and fading down into white. I cut the cardfront panel down to be 4 x 5.25" and then arranged the bird and branches. The branches where glued down but I added a little bit of thin foam squares to the bird for a bit of dimension.

After my stamped images where all arranged, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink onto the card panel. Then I adhered the card panel to a top folding A2 cardbase using some Instant Dimension foam tape from Altenew.

As a finishing touch, I used some clear Nuvo Drops over the berries to add shine and dimension.

I hope you enjoyed reading about how I created this card! I can't wait to see what everyone creates for the challenge this month!
