A Cute Baby Shower Card for the April Inspiration Station Challenge
Hello everyone and welcome to my project for the April instalment of the Inspiration Station Challenge.
The Inspiration Station Challenge: April
The Inspiration Station Challenge is a monthly challenge for all types of crafty projects. It starts the first Monday of each month and runs to the end of the month. Each month there is a new image to use for inspiration and it is a perfect way to jump start you creativity!
You can find all the details and link up your projects to play along on the Inspiration Station Challenge Blog!
Making the Card
For my card, I chose to be inspired by the mom and child hugging plus the soft pinks. That is the really fun part of this challenge, you can decide how you want to be inspired by the image and just run with it!I s
I started by die cutting the elephants out out using different colours of cardstock. I puzzle pieced the elephants together and adhered them to the centre of a square white cardstock panel. Next, I stamped the sentiment directly under the elephants.
I created a square cardbase using Desert Storm cardstock and rounded the edges with a corner rounder punch. I also rounded the corners of the white panel before adhering it to the cardbase with foam tape.
To finished the card I added a few little embellishments surrounding the elephants to add that little bit of sparkle!
