Falling into Fall for the September Inspriation Station Challenge

I have a colourful fall card to share with you today that I created for the Inspiration Station Challenge this month! 

The Inspiration Station Challenge: September

 This month our inspiration image features these beautifully colourful leaves and I had to try and incorporate the fun purple of that one leaf into my card design! You can find all the details about the challenge and how to play along over on the Inspiration Station Challenge blog.

 Making my card

 I kept it pretty simple but colourful for my card today. I stamped out a few images from an old MFT stamps set and coloured them using my Ohuhu alcohol markers. I tried to pick colours that matched the inspiration image closely and I really love the fun look it gave the leaf piles. 

After colouring, I fussy cut out all the images and decided on a layout I liked. I used Neenah Desert Storm cardstock for my cardbase and I added a frame detail using a white acrylic marker. Some cream peal embellishments finished off the card.
